Keto Spicy Chicken Drumsticks

7 ratings

These chicken drumsticks are baked in a sweet and spicy marinade until golden and caramelized

Although these have been oven baked, they would also be great cooked over a BBQ served with a low carb slaw!

Made this for the family for dinner and we all loved the spice. I doubled the marinade and also marinated chicken breasts which I sliced and ate on a salad today with avocado and olives, tomato, cucumber with bleu cheese dressing. It was delicious and similar to eating spicy wings with bleu cheese.

Nice flavour. I would have liked it more if the skin got crispy.

These were sooo good ,I ate 2!! The skin gets a dark color and crispy just like in photo. And I thought the maple and lime would be odd together but it was delicious!!

Leave out the red pepper if you can't eat spicy stuff. The drumsticks will still be delicious.
