Keto Turkey Bacon And Avocado Biscuit Sandwiches
You can have a delicious and fun Keto breakfast that everyone in the family will enjoy in less than an hour. These biscuit breakfast sandwiches are stacked. You might even say they’re tastier and more filling than the typical breakfast sandwich you would pay $5 for at a drive-thru! Your classic egg patty is covered in a layer of melted cheddar and blanketed with crispy turkey bacon and just the right amount of avocado. The ingredients are sandwiched between Keto biscuits that bake in under 15 minutes, and there’s no need for hours of prep time ahead like traditional bread needs! At your discretion, try adding the Carb Manager Special Sauce for another nostalgic drive-thru twist on your breakfast sandwich.

The Argument For Turkey Bacon
Everyone who is new to the Ketogenic diet is delightfully surprised when they learn they don’t have to cut their favorite meats out of their diet. Sure, you could swap out the turkey bacon in this recipe for good ol’ pork bacon if you really wanted to. While bacon isn’t a no-no on a Keto diet, you may want to occasionally sub in that turkey bacon. For one, turkey bacon is far less salty. Keto bread recipes (including biscuits) are typically on the saltier side, so pork bacon may put you on a sodium overload. Turkey bacon also has leaner fats. Yes, you want more fat on your Ket diet, but try to lean towards healthier fats that come from avocado, coconut, and nuts.
Have A Fuller Meal With These Side Dish Suggestions
These turkey bacon breakfast sandwiches are the perfect size for a gourmet-style handheld meal. One by itself should be pretty filling. However, if you like to eat “breakfast like a king and dinner like a pauper”, you can add on some healthy sides to your breakfast. Try one of Carb Manager’s many smoothie recipes to add some fruit and bright flavors into your morning. You may also like to have a cup of Keto butter coffee alongside your biscuit sandwich as well, which can add more fat to the start of your day. A light salad with vinaigrette isn’t too traditional but is a healthy and gourmet addition too.

Step 1
Preheat an oven to 450 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, salt, baking powder, oregano, onion powder, melted butter, egg, mayo, and parmesan cheese. Mix with a spatula until you have a uniform, wet batter.Step 2
Fill 4 regular-sized muffin tins with batter, each one about ¾ full. Bake the biscuits for 12 minutes. Allow the biscuits to cool for a couple of minutes before removing from the pan. Let the biscuits cool fully before slicing in half to make the biscuit sandwiches.Step 3
Make 4 egg patties. For each one, crack a single egg into a coffee mug with a base that is the same size as your biscuit. Stir in a small pinch of pepper and whisk until the egg is half mixed. Microwave the egg for 30-40 seconds on high to cook through. The cooked egg should naturally release from the mug and you can slide it onto the base of a biscuit. Layer ¼ oz sliced cheddar on top of the hot egg so it melts. Repeat for all 4 sandwiches.Step 4
Cook the turkey bacon slices on your stovetop until crispy. Let the bacon cool for 1 minute before slicing them in half. Place the equivalent of 1 slice of bacon on top of each egg patty. Slice the avocado and arrange a little more than ¼ oz on to each sandwich. Place the top pieces of biscuit over the avocado slices and enjoy.

Can you sub olive oil for butter? I'm dairy free. I would just do without cheese

This looks great! If I were to just make the biscuits to use for other kinds of sandwiches, do you know what the nutrition facts would be for one biscuit
