Keto Taco Meatza for 2

Our delicious Keto taco "meatza" is a fantastic and healthy dinner for 2 you can prepare for your next date night. We used seasoned ground turkey to create a pizza crust, which you can top with some salsa, cheese, avocadoes, and sliced chilis. You can also add a small amount of finely chopped onions or olives. This recipe yields 2 servings, but you can prepare more because it tastes fantastic the next day. Serve your Keto meatza with some sour cream and a few drops of lime juice. Enjoy!

How do you customize this recipe?

We prepared a taco version of Keto meatza, but you can use the meat base to prepare any other type of pizza you prefer. You can add some shredded cheese, pepperoni, anchovies, peppers, mushrooms, or any other topping you like and season the meatza according to your taste. This dish is a wonderful twist to regular low-carb pizza recipes and makes a fantastic meal to prepare all year round.

How do you substitute the ground turkey?

Substitute the ground turkey for the same amount of ground chicken. If you can't find ground chicken in your local store, you can add the chicken breasts to your food processor and process until it resembles ground chicken.

Can I prepare this recipe in my air fryer?

Absolutely! This is a fantastic recipe to prepare in your air fryer. Line the bottom of your air fryer basket with parchment paper and, depending on the size of your air fryer, cook the turkey base for 5 minutes at 175°C (350°C). After about 5 minutes, top the pizza crust with your toppings and cook for another 5-7 minutes or until cheese melts.

Is this recipe freezer-friendly?

Absolutely. You can prepare and cook pizza crusts and then freeze them separately until ready to use. Gently thaw in the oven for a few minutes, top with your favorite toppings, and bake until the cheese melts and your meatza is fully cooked.

VERY GOOD! I made mine with green bell peppers rather than chili peppers because I don’t like really spicy foods, just make sure to flatten the meat into a disc prior to throwing it in the oven the first time and it’s a delicious meal and keto friendly. I wish this app allowed us to submit picture reviews. It came out great. Definitely will make again.
