Keto Strawberry Juice
This quick and easy homemade Keto strawberry juice is the perfect beverage for warm summer days. Using only 5 ingredients, you can have this refreshing drink ready in under 5 minutes. It is the ultimate beverage for gatherings, BBQ's, and kid’s parties.
What juice is Keto-friendly?
Most juices containing vegetables only are Keto-friendly. Fruit juices are generally high in carbs and natural sugars. If you want to prepare Keto fruit juice recipes, stick to lower-carb fruits like strawberries, raspberries, watermelon, or cantaloupe. Consider reducing the fruit amount and adding natural fruit extracts to cut down on carbs.
Can you drink fruit juice on Keto?
Generally, most 100% fruit juices are high in carbohydrates and natural sugars, making them unsuitable for a Keto diet. This recipe, however, is prepared with low-carb fruit and natural extract to replicate the taste of strawberry juice.
Can you customize this juice?
Yes, you can! The best Keto juice recipes are the ones that can be easily customized. Consider adding raspberries and blueberries to make a mixed berry juice or watermelon for a unique flavor combo. You can also add fresh herbs like basil or mint to make it more refreshing. To make it into a sparkling strawberry beverage, replace 1 cup of water with sparkling water.
Can you omit the strawberry extract?
Adding natural strawberry extract in juicing recipes allows you to reduce the strawberries, thus cutting back on carbs. If you don’t have it on hand, you can add ½ cup of fresh strawberries, but each serving will have 2g of extra carbs.
