Wow, this is good! Took the advice of others and reduced the the crushed red pepper. Used already cut slaw mix, could not have been easier.

Unique flavors and tasty. Added onion and used cayenne pepper because that’s what we had. Will make again.

Loved it! Made it twice. Second time cooked shrimp separately with a little garlic salt as my husband hates steamed/poached seafood. Making the noodles tomorrow to go with leftover teriyaki chicken. I used more garlic and ginger than recipe called for and probably a little less pepper flakes. You can always add more later.

I followed the recipe exactly and I found myself going through my spice rack adding more seasoning to it. This just tasted like cabbage and shrimp... With spice.

Traded the cabbage for purple cabbage and added a dash of cumin. Super good!!

I wasn’t sure about this...shrimp with cabbage? Tried it because I had all the ingredients. Yum! Perfect heat and if you are a cilantro fan be sure to add it. Easy and delicious. Will make this again soon!

I really thought I was going to like this, but it was just too hot, and the cilantro ruined it for me. So I will give this meal another try by replacing the cilantro with parsley and using only 1/2 teaspoon red crushed peppers. I love cabbage and shrimp, and all the other ingredients, but every time I try cilantro it ruins meals for me. It's probably just me, but cilantro gives vegetables a detergent like taste. Anyways, I will give this meal another shot.

I think thats so funny because I love cilantro but before I knew what it was called I use to say "i love that herb that tastes like soap..."

Yes I dislike cilantro thought it was just me that thought it tasted like soap. lol

Did you know liking or disliking cilantro is a genetic trait? After many years of trying to like it and just tasting soap, I have given up and avoid it. Imagine…to some people it tastes delicious!

Your ability to like cilantro is genetic. Some people love it, others feel it tastes like detergent. There’s no middle ground. You can replace it by basil instead

This was absolutely DELICIOUS! I was unable to find ginger root at our store (Completely OUT!) so I used 1/2 tbsp of ground ginger. Thank you very much for this recipe! Absolute FAVORITE!
