Keto Air Fryer Chili Cheese Zucchini Chips

These Keto air fryer zucchini chips are coated in a flavorsome spiced batter then air fried until crisp and golden on the outside. These make a great snacking option in place of traditional carb heavy chips. Perfect for sharing with friends and family!

Air Fryer Keto Zucchini Chips Ingredients

This air fryer recipe for Keto zucchini chips requires a little prep but is well worth the effort! The recipe calls for one medium zucchini, sliced into discs. Once prepared, the sliced zucchini are dipped in beaten egg, then coated in a batter of ground almonds, grated cheddar, parmesan, chili powder and garlic powder.

Air Fryer Zucchini Chips Tips

To get the best from your Keto zucchini chips it is important to coat them evenly in batter on both sides. Once they are prepared and ready to cook, you will need to arrange them in the air fryer basket in a single layer. They won’t all fit so you will need to cook in two batches. Also, these Keto zucchini chips carry a little heat from ground chili powder. Feel free to adjust or omit the chili to suit your own personal taste. Be sure to adjust your macros for any changes made.

Not a fan. Too much chili power. Also, needs two zucchini to use up egg & seasoning mixture.

Going to try this but need to substitute the almond for coconut flour. I’m allergic to almonds 😳 what would be the ratio?

Will these turn out good if baked in the oven? I don’t have an air fryer.

Most recipes done in the oven can simulate air fryer results when you: Use the convection setting on your oven (blowing air during baking) at 400 degrees, and placing foods on a wire rack on top of a baking sheet (or directly on oven racks without any baking sheet if items are big enough and you don’t mind the clean up) so that the air can swirl around the whole item.

This sounds very good, what can I use if I don’t have an air fryer?
