Keto Italian Cheese Bread
You will love this Italian-inspired Keto cheese bread recipe. Our recipe for Keto bread is so close to traditional bread; you will be in bread heaven with this one. Tender, soft bread is topped with garlic butter, parmesan cheese, string mozzarella cheese, and Italian seasoning. The bread is then placed under the broiler until the cheese is browned and extremely gooey! You will find yourself making this low-carb recipe again and again.
What type of cheese should I use on top?
Shredded mozzarella is a classic Italian cheese. However, we have found that Mexican Chihuahua cheese makes a great replacement for mozzarella cheese with excellent flavor and stringy pull.

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine the almond flour, baking powder, sea salt, psyllium husk powder, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl. Use a whisk to combine the ingredients. Prepare an 8" x 8" pan with nonstick cooking spray.Step 2
Next, add in the eggs and egg whites. Then add the olive oil. Whisk well to incorporate the ingredients.Step 3
Pour the dough into an 8” x 8” pan that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake 25 minutes or until puffed and cooked through. Gluten-free bread tends to bake for a longer amount of time, so if unsure, err on the side of adding a couple of extra minutes.Step 4
In the meantime, melt the butter in a bowl and add ¼ tsp garlic powder and ¼ tsp kosher salt. Spread this mixture over the top of the cooked bread.Step 5
Then top the bread with parmesan cheese and mozzarella. Next, sprinkle the Italian seasoning over the top. Broil the bread with the cheese for 2-3 minutes or until nicely browned. Cut and serve immediately!

I added some of the Italian seasoning into the dry mixture the 2nd time making this. It really does hit the spot for a garlic bread!
