Tofu Shirataki Spaghetti Shaped Noodle by House Foods
8 ounce
Pesto Sauce
2 tablespoon

Step 1
Drain tofu noodles and place in a microwave safe bowl.Step 2
Microwave for 1 minute and drain a second time as more water will be released.Step 3
Top with pesto and stir in. Taste and add salt as needed.

I had never had shiratake noodles so I was willing to give this a try at least once. The noodles were kind of chewy but if you’re desperate for a pasta substitute this can work. The pesto stuck to the noodles well enough as opposed to a comment someone else left but I think it might be because I drained my noodles really well so they weren’t very wet. I topped mine with about a tablespoon of Parmesan cheese and it was tasty enough.

These noodles are great in certain meals.. this is not one of them. Pesto does not stick to the noodles and all you get is the taste and texture of the “noodles”.
