Ingredients
Asparagus
16 small - spear - 5" long or less
Walnuts
3 half
Goat Cheese, Soft
1-½ ounce
Maple Flavored Syrup by Lakanto
1 teaspoon
Olive Oil
½ tablespoon
Salt, Sea Salt
¼ teaspoon
Black Pepper
⅛ teaspoon

Step 1
Cut the tough ends off the asparagus. Add the spears to a pan of boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes until just tender. Drain and transfer immediately to a bowl of ice cold water.Step 2
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.Step 3
Arrange the asparagus in a small oven tray or loaf tin. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper and drizzle with the olive oil.Step 4
Crumble over the goats cheese and walnuts and drizzle with the lakanto.Step 5
Transfer to the oven to bake for 10 minutes until hot through.
