Keto Easy One Skillet Breakfast
Breakfast may arguably be the most important meal of the day, but that doesn’t mean it has to be difficult to make! This easy Keto breakfast skillet recipe is made all in one pan. That’s fewer dishes for you as an added bonus. Your breakfast meal consists of two links of your favorite brand of frozen sausage, one fried egg, and sliced avocado. The ingredients are simple, but the carbs are complex (that’s a good thing). Your Keto breakfast skillet starts your day out right with lots of fat, some protein, and fiber. Although this is a good recipe for beginners, it may not be best for meal prepping. Make this breakfast recipe in under 15 minutes for speedy mornings that leave you satisfied.
Different ways to cook an egg
The original Keto skillet here makes an easy-fried egg. You are welcome to cook the egg to your preferred doneness. Aside from frying, you could scramble the egg before cooking it in the butter. You could also serve your egg over-easy, medium, or hard. Choose your favorite style so you enjoy your Keto breakfast!
Cook with raw pork sausage instead
Want to skip the frozen, processed sausage? That’s okay, you can substitute the sausage with ground pork. Substitute by weight exactly, then cook the ground pork in your skillet. You can also substitute frozen sausage links with raw, skinny breakfast sausage links if your grocery store carries them.
What is Keto about avocado?
There’s a reason it’s the Carb Manager mascot: the avocado is rich with reasons to be on your Keto diet. Maybe most importantly, avocado has monounsaturated fat. This type of fat is known to fight bad cholesterol instead of contributing to it. Avocados are also low in carbs, and much of their carbs are fiber.

Step 1
Place your sausage links in a non-stick skillet, and follow the directions on the packaging to cook them. Add water to the skillet and simmer the sausage links until the water evaporates. Then, cook the sausages over low heat until they turn golden on both sides.Step 2
Transfer the sausages to your serving plate. Melt butter in the skillet over low heat, then crack an egg into the butter. Season the egg with a dash of salt and pepper. Fry the egg in the butter until it’s done to your liking. However, you can scramble the egg or cook the egg in the butter in your desired style.Step 3
Add the cooked egg to your plate. Slice the avocado and add it to your plate as well. It’s recommended you add an extra pinch of salt to the avocado, but you can leave it plain. Other toppings you could add to the avocado to make it more flavorful are a dash of your favorite hot sauce or a squeeze of lemon/lime juice.
