Keto Butter Roasted Radishes with Chives and Parmesan
These deliciously tender radishes make a great low carb side, packed with fats and flavor. Our Keto-friendly vegetable side dish is prepared with crisp fresh radishes, creamy butter, tangy parmesan cheese, aromatic garlic and fresh chives. These are a great low carb alternative to potatoes, perfect served with your favorite Keto mains.
Can I Make This Vegan?
We have cooked our radishes in a hearty helping of butter for both fats and flavor, and tossed the vegetables with grated Parmesan cheese to serve. If you would like to make the recipe vegan-friendly, you can simply swap the butter for coconut oil or olive oil. You can also swap the parmesan cheese for nutritional yeast to add a plant-based ‘cheese’ flavor. Please be sure to adjust your macros to account for any changes made to the original recipe.

These buttery sautéed radishes make a quick and easy Keto side, perfect for weeknight dining. The radishes make a great substitute for potatoes and work particularly well with grilled and roasted meat. They are delicious with whole roasted chicken or grilled pork chops.

Radish, raw

Butter, unsalted

Parmesan cheese, dry (grated)
1 tbsp
Lemon Peel Or Zest Raw
1 tsp
Chives
1 tbsp
Garlic
1 clove
Salt, sea salt

Step 1
Trim the tips and tops from the radishes and discard. Keep any small radishes whole and slice any large radishes in half. Melt the butter in a skillet over a medium heat. Add the radishes and sauté for 5-6 minutes until fork tender and starting to brown.Step 2
Crush the garlic and add to the skillet along with the lemon zest, salt and pepper. Reduce the heat to low/medium. Continue to pan fry the radishes for 3-4 minutes more or until tender and the garlic has softened.Step 3
Remove from the heat. Finely chop the chives. Sprinkle the parmesan and chives over the radishes. Stir to combine. Serve with your preferred Keto mains.
