Keto Rum and Chili BBQ Sauce
This warming low carb BBQ sauce is rich with spices and a touch of rum to create a Keto twist on this classic sauce. Our savory low carb sauce is prepared with a base of tomato paste, a little cider vinegar, rum, bbq spices and a touch of low carb sweetener. This simple to prepare Keto sauce simply needs simmering on the stove to warm the spices and infuse the flavors before cooking to serve.
Is Rum Keto?
Rum is a great zero carb alcohol option that can be enjoyed in moderation as part of a balanced Keto diet. We have used 2 tablespoons of rum to add a twist of flavor to our low carb sauce. You may add more or less rum as desired according to personal taste. Please be sure to adjust your macros to account for any changes made to the original recipe.
How To Use Keto BBQ Sauce
This easy Keto BBQ sauce makes for a versatile recipe. Not only can you adapt and adjust the seasonings to taste, but it’s also perfect for different uses! Why not try as a marinade for BBQ meats? Perfect for coating chicken wings and thighs. You can also use as a burger sauce or dressing for your Keto fries. Alternatively, use whenever BBQ sauce is called for in your Keto cooking!

It's a little bitter. We had to add a lot to it to tame it some.
