This simple broccoli steak is par boiled until tender then baked with classic pizza toppings of oozy mozzarella, sweet tomato and salty olives.

⅓ medium - stalk - 7 1/2" to 8" long
Salt, Sea Salt

Step 1
Slice the broccoli into 2 ‘steaks’, roughly a half inch thick. Add to a pan of boiling water and simmer for 4-5 minutes until tender. Remove from the pan and pat dry.Step 2
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.Step 3
Divide the passata evenly between the two broccoli steaks and season to taste.Step 4
Scatter over the grated mozzarella and dried oregano.Step 5
Thinly slice the olives and arrange over the mozzarella.Step 6
Transfer the pizza topped broccoli steaks to the oven for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the broccoli is cooked through. Scatter with fresh basil to serve.
