Keto Multigrain Chaffles

23 ratings

You will love these multigrain waffles made with coconut flour, flax seeds and chia seeds. They get deliciously crispy out of the waffle iron and are great topped with fresh berries, sugar-free syrup or whipped cream.

Can someone clarify the nutrition info. Is it 3 net carbs for the entire recipe, OR is it 3 net carps per waffle and this recipe makes 2 waffles for a total of 6 net carbs??

I noticed if you scroll all the down to where it lists the nutrition facts, it specifies 1 waffle at 100 g or 3.5 oz.

I saw below where someone questioned what the actual serving size was and I think it’s either one large waffle or two small waffles from a mini waffle maker. When I made this this morning, I used a mini waffle maker and got four out of it. You have to be careful with the portioning to end up with enough for the fourth one.

The title of this recipe is misleading. These are not chaffles as there is no cheese in this recipe. They are just waffles made with egg and coconut flour and chia and ground flaxseed.

Perhaps the 'ch' is for 'chia'?

Delicious! Did not stick to the waffle maker. I used a mini waffle maker and got just exactly 4 minis out of the recipe. Two waffles work great as sandwich bread. So I made ham and egg sandwiches.

Surprisingly good. The “batter” was so liquidy I wasn’t sure how it would turn out. Great texture and yummy! As I went to make this a second time I realize the first time I used almond flour not coconut flour which was the difference in the thickness of the batter. Both ways delicious.

This was my first attempt at making a chaffle. I followed others by adding vanilla, cinnamon and monk fruit sweetener. Will definitely make again. Thanks for a great recipe!

Added 1 teaspoon of monk sugar and some cinnamon, this recipe made 4 in my mini waffle iron. My husband said these have the best texture of any recipes I have tried. Next time I will add vanilla and drop a few blueberries on top of batter before closing lid. Cooked 3 minutes each !!!Yum

I substitute the mayo for yogurt, lots of extra protein if you have the carb space.

So mine made 3 & 1/4 on a mini waffle maker. Recipe says yields 2 but show's 1 as a serving in the pic. What is a serving size

I made these with my new mini dash waffle iron, and the recipe yielded four mini waffles, cooked for about two minutes each. I sprayed the waffle iron between each waffle. Turned out great! Next time I might add shredded cheese, or maybe swap out the mayo for cheese; I like a savoury chaffle.

Delish. Added vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon olive oil. My waffle maker days not to put spray oil. This way they do not stick to the iron. Love how easy it's to make

I don't have a waffle iron so I made pancakes. Reduce heat to med. I also don't have mayonnaise, substituted sour cream! Not bad. I may add vanilla extract and cinnamon next time!
