I ended up adding the cauliflower rice to the meat after it was browned and sautéed it in. Then added the basil. After that I stirred in konjac flour noodles I had on hand thus increasing the volume of the dish without increasing the calories. In my opinion it made it a lot more family friendly by masking the cauliflower and even more delicious! I also added some chili crisp on top of mine, because I did not add the Thai chili pepper to the dish itself, I only added some chili pepper flakes to the garlic but not enough to make the overall dish super spicy since my 11 year old was eating it and it was a hit all around my family last night!
