Like many other Carnivore ground beef recipes, you can swap the beef for your preferred protein, as long as you use high-quality, organic, and grass-fed or pasture-raised meat. Feel free to use ground turkey, pork, chicken, or lamb for this recipe.
Can you omit the parmesan cheese?
Usually, Carnivore diet recipes allow some dairy, preferably A2 and low-lactose/lactose-free.
You can swap the parmesan for cheddar or Monterey Jack or omit it altogether.

Natural Creamy Butter, Grass Fed

Ground beef
50 g
Raw egg

Salt
0.5 tsp
Black pepper
0.5 tsp
Parmesan cheese, fresh (hard)
0.25 cup, grated

1 tbsp, chopped

Step 1
Add ½ tbsp of butter to a nonstick pan and place it over medium-high heat. Once melted, add the beef and season with ¼ tsp salt and ¼ tsp black pepper. Cook until browned, then transfer to a plate.Step 2
Add the eggs to a bowl and season with the remaining salt and pepper. Whisk until no egg white threads remain. Add the remaining butter to the pan and place over medium heat.Step 3
Once the butter melts, pour the eggs into the pan. Drop the heat to low and cover the pan with a lid. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until fully cooked.Step 4
Transfer the omelet to a plate and add the cooked beef to the center. Top with parmesan cheese and fold both sides to the center. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
