Leeks

Olive Oil
1 tablespoon
Cheddar Cheese
½ cup, grated
Salt, Sea Salt

Black Pepper

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.Step 2
Remove any outer leaves from the leek and cut away the tough ends. Slice the leek into three equal segments. Add to a pan of boiling water and simmer for 3 minutes until fork tender. Drain completely and set aside to steam dry.Step 3
Once cool enough to handle, slice the leek segments in half and arrange in a small oven proof dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.Step 4
Scatter over the grated cheese and transfer to the oven to bake for 10 minutes until the leeks are soft and the cheese is melted and golden.

Anyone tried? I wanted to know how it tastes as I been looking for tasty was to incorporate leeks into gut health.
