Keto Cheesy Green Beans

41 ratings

These super rich and cheesy green beans are baked with tangy cheddar, parmesan and heavy cream until golden and bubbling.

These make for an excellent side to roast with meats or even as an addition to the Thanksgiving table.

So good and creamy! The sauce seemed really oily and runny when I first pulled it out of the oven. But stirring it and letting it sit a little bit, it thickened up nicely.

Tastes amazing but pretty sure the serving size must be a bit off. 1 serving is really small

So good. And even better with a few almond slithers!

So good and I’ve used asparagus also instead of beans - excellent!

I made a version of this tonight for hubby and I. It was really good! Used an entire package of fresh asparagus instead of the beans. Sliced two chicken breasts in half horizontally and placed them on top. I think next time I’ll add Italian seasoning for more flavour.

This is so tasty! I made it last night, following the recipe almost exactly: I omitted the nutmeg and, since I used an unfamiliar toaster oven, ended up broiling for a few minutes to get a crispier top. Will definitely be making this one again and again!

I omitted the nutmeg and only had half & half on hand. Was very tasty! Even better the second night. This is a keeper. Next time, I’m going to try it with asparagus in lieu of the green beans. BTW, I also sprinkled a few bacon bits on top 🤤

How can there be 4 servings when total weight of all green beans is 7 oz and a serving is 3.2 oz?? Do green beans weigh more after cooking?

When you include the cheese and cream it’s about 14 oz, which divides by 4 to 3.5

Omg I crave these! I’ve made them for holidays, a side with steaks, as a side with Turkey and ham! Tonight I’m baking a couple chicken breasts in with the mixture and topped with the beans! Here’s to you, incredible recipe writer 🍻 💕💕

This was so incredibly good. I left out the nutmeg and steamed my beans before hand. Unfortunately with keto I had to limit myself or the entire casserole dish of them would have been gone. Great recipe !!

Loved it. I boiled the green beans for 5 minutes first, blanched them in ice water then continued with the recipe. I omitted the nutmeg and added bacon crumble. It was amazing.
