Keto Egg Fast Spicy Cheddar Pancake Bites Meal
If you like breakfast foods, but you don’t like sweet meals, this savory and slightly spicy recipe will meet your needs. If you’re on the egg fast diet, you’ll love how this meal actually takes multiple bites to eat instead of just one or two! A pancake batter is made with just egg, cream cheese, and some spices. Tiny pancake “bites” are cooked in a skillet with coconut oil until golden. They’re fluffy, chewy, and have a surprise sprinkle of cheddar cheese too. Served next to the pancake bites is half of a boiled egg for additional protein. You are directed to cook the egg to your liking. You may wish to soft-boil the egg so you can dip your savory pancakes in the jammy yolk!
Does The Recipe Meet My Egg Fast Needs?
The egg fast diet requires you to eat 4-5 meals a day. Each meal should include 1 egg, 1 tablespoon fat, and up to 1 ounce of cheese or all your meals for the day should total to the same amounts. A serving of this Keto recipe is 6 pieces of pancakes bites and ½ a boiled egg. Each serving includes 1 ½ egg, 1 teaspoon of fat, and about ¾ ounce cheese. This means you may add up to an additional 2 teaspoons of fat to your meal such as melted butter or a cream-based sauce.
I Don’t Like Spicy Foods
If you don’t like spicy ingredients, don’t worry. To make the egg fast pancakes mild, simply omit the red pepper flakes. There are no other spicy ingredients included. You may also include a ½ tablespoon of sour cream or mayonnaise in your meal since each serving leaves room for more fat macros. The condiment will help cool your palette!

Step 1
To make the pancake batter, blend eggs, cold cream cheese, salt, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes in a food processor or good-quality blender. Blend until the batter is pale yellow, free of lumps, and frothy. You may need to scrape down the batter and blend two or three times to achieve this. Pour the batter into a pitcher, measuring cup, or some other tool for pouring the batter.Step 2
Choose a non-stick or cast-iron skillet to cook the pancakes. Melt 1 teaspoon of coconut oil in the skillet over medium heat. When the oil is hot, pour 6 servings of pancake bites in the oil, each about 1 tablespoon of batter. Then, sprinkle ½ teaspoon of shredded cheese over each potion. When the batter begins to cook, you can gently reshape any bites into circles as needed with a spatula. Let the bites cook on one side until they turn golden brown and naturally release from your pan.Step 3
Flip the pancake bites over and let them finish cooking on the other side until golden brown - about 60-90 seconds. Adjust your heat as necessary to avoid burning. Transfer the cooked pancake bites to a surface to cool and repeat Step 2 to cook the remaining batter. Once all the pancake bites are cooked, make a boiled egg by placing eggs with their shells in a pot and fill the pot with water until the eggs are covered. Bring the water to a boil on the stove.Step 4
Once the water and egg(s) are boiling, cook the eggs to your liking. For soft-boiled eggs, cook for about 4 minutes. For medium-done eggs, cook for 6 minutes, and hard-boiled eggs can be cooked for 10 minutes. Cool the boiled eggs in an ice bath until they’re easy to handle. Peel the eggs and slice them in half. Each serving includes 6 pancake bites and ½ egg.
