Keto Best Chocolate Protein Energy Balls
When you’re in need of a pick-me-up, don’t go for a cup of coffee. You might just be in need of a high-protein Keto recipe that also has healthy fat in it! Try making these chocolate protein energy balls! They’re super chocolatey and filled with crunchy almonds. Nut butter and coconut oil add extra Keto fats to the energy balls. Keep them stored in your refrigerator, and bite into a chilled energy ball in the morning or when you get the afternoon slumps. They make a good snack too when you don’t want to overeat between meals.
Extra ingredients to add
You can roll your chocolate Keto high-protein balls in shredded unsweetened coconut for a crunchy and yummy coating. If you like cocoa powder, sprinkle a little extra on top like a chocolate truffle. You can substitute the chopped almonds with another favorite nut that’s high in fat and protein, such as cashews. Try rolling the energy balls in hemp seeds or sesame seeds for more protein and fat too.
What is pea protein powder?
Pea protein powder is made from the dried fibers of peas. That’s really about it, there’s nothing extra added! Pea protein can be added to smoothies, shakes, sauces, and these chocolate energy balls. The powder is practically tasteless and easy to cover up too.
Is almond flour safe to eat without cooking?
Almond flour is made from just that and nothing more: almonds! Almond flour is just finely ground almonds (so you can make it at home too if you ever wanted to). It’s perfectly safe to eat without cooking. All the ingredients in this high protein Keto recipe are safe to eat after chilling them only.

To dry. That much flour is or any flour at all is unnecessary.
