Keto Slow Cooker Tandoori Chicken
Tandoori chicken is delicious roasted chicken dish created in India but immensely popular all over the world. If you enjoy classic Indian dishes, such as butter chicken, this will be your next favorite Indian keto recipe to try. What makes tandoori chicken so irresistible? It’s marinated in a blend of spices and creamy yogurt for hours before slow-cooking to perfection and a traditional tandoor clay oven. The good news is the spices utilized in this recipe are very easy to find in a grocery store. If you can’t get your hands on garam masala, you can create your own blend using coriander, cumin, cardamom, nutmeg, and a few other pantry staple spices. The even better news is your slow cooker or crock pot can cook the chicken just like a tandoor oven would! After you taste the depth of flavor in this recipe, you’ll never look at your typical marinated roasted chicken the same way again.

Add More Keto Recipes To Your Meal
This keto tandoori chicken recipe is delicious to eat but not filling enough on its own. For a simple meal prep or lunch, prepare a side of cauliflower rice. The rice can soak up all the extra seasoned juices in your slow cooker. If you don’t like cauliflower rice, a bed of cooked keto vegetables can work just as well. Step 1
Pat whole chicken breasts dry with paper towels and cut into 3-4 manageable pieces. Create 6-8 slices in each chicken breast, all about ¾ way through the chicken (don’t slice the breasts all the way through). Slice a large garlic clove into thin slices, then arrange them in between the slices of chicken in an even amount.Step 2
Place the chicken breasts in a ziploc bag or glass dish. Combine together all the remaining ingredients into a spiced marinade. Pour the marinade over the chicken and spread it around until the marinade fills all the chicken slices and each breast is fully coated. Seal the chicken in its container air tight and marinate in your refrigerator for at least 4 hours. However, you can marinate overnight as well.Step 3
After marinating, place the chicken in your slow cooker or crock pot and cook for 8 hours on low. After cooking, remove the chicken and gently pull apart the pre-cut slices. You can serve the chicken with the natural juices that extract in the slow cooker or you may discard them after cooking.
