Keto Cheesy Bacon Ranch Turkey Rolls
In just 30 minutes, you have the perfect main course for your Keto lunch, dinner, or meal prep. Thick slices of your favorite deli turkey are filled with a crunchy, creamy mixture of bacon and cheddar cheese. For the ranch flavor, a packet of your favorite brand of ranch dressing mix is all you need. A few extra seasonings and a layer of extra melted cheese on top make these baked turkey rolls to die for. Some extra Keto fats are sneaked in with additions of mayonnaise and butter. The fats add on the macros you need but also make the dish decadent and creamy. There are many low-carb side dish recipes you can choose from in the Carb Manager recipe library to finish your meal. Is Ranch Dressing Powder Mix Keto Friendly?
The brand of ranch dressing powder mix you choose for your recipe can affect how Keto-friendly your meal may be. Check the ingredient list on the packaging. You may see added sugars or ingredients such as maltodextrin, which is another sneaky non-Keto ingredient. If you’re keeping to a strict, 100% authentic Keto diet, you’ll need to be wary of these ingredients. However, such a small amount of ranch powder is actually needed for the recipe that your serving will have 0g of carbs/sugar from this ingredient. Look at the nutrition label on your ranch dressing packaging, and you’ll see a serving doesn’t have enough sugar in it to register as added carbs.
Adding Fats To Low-Fat Keto Meals
Are you making a delicious meal, but you realize you don’t need any cooking oils or fats? There are other ways you can sneak in fats without ruining the flavor of your recipe. For example, in this Keto recipe, you’ll add mayonnaise to your bacon filling. Mayonnaise is an easy way to include Keto fats, makes your meal tender and moist, and is easy to take on other flavors with seasonings. If you’re baking a protein in your oven, add dollops of butter to the top for extra fat. Just like the mayonnaise, dollops of melted butter add on fat, tenderize your protein, and add more flavor to the dish.

Step 1
Start by cooking your bacon to crispy pieces on your stovetop. Once the bacon is crisp and cooled, chop the bacon into bits. The finer you chop the bacon, the better your filling will be. In a mixing bowl, mix together the bacon bits, mayonnaise, and shredded cheddar until you have a consistent, thick filling.Step 2
Turn on the oven to preheat to 350 degrees. Lay a slice of turkey down horizontally on a clean surface and arrange about 2 tablespoons of bacon filling on the left side. Gently roll the turkey over the filling and roll up the remainder. Arrange each filled turkey roll in a glass baking dish.Step 3
Sprinkle the ranch powder, italian seasoning, garlic powder, and gouda cheese over the top of the turkey rolls. Chop the butter into 4-6 pieces, and arrange then on top of the seasoned turkey rolls. Bake the dish, uncovered, in your oven for 20 minutes. The cheese should be bubbly and melted and a slight browning on the edges of the turkey slices.
