Keto Kid's Christmas Punch
Make this Keto kid’s Christmas punch recipe for a refreshing, fizzy, fruity drink that adults can enjoy as well. It requires a little bit of prep in your kitchen to get fresh cranberry juice in the punch, but the kids will never know the difference between this drink and other high-calorie beverages with added sugar. The only sugar in this punch is the natural sugar from the fruit. The Christmas punch is sweetened with liquid stevia drops, which you can adjust to your taste. If you’re only serving adults but looking for Keto drink ideas, feel free to add your favorite liquor to the punchbowl!
Flavors you can use
This recipe does allow you to customize the punch to your taste. To cut out even more carbs, replace the fresh orange juice with orange-flavored sparkling water. Just note that you will only need a couple of ounces. For the main portion of the Christmas punch, it’s recommended you use grapefruit-flavored sparkling water. Other flavors you might consider, however, include mango or peach. For another fun twist, swap the lemon juice for lime juice.
Can adults enjoy this recipe too?
The short answer is of course adults can join in on this Keto kid’s Christmas punch. The punch is delicious on its own, and it’s just sweet enough - not overly sweetened with fruit or liquid stevia. If no kids are around and you’d like to spike your punch bowl, you can add liquor to the recipe. For clear liquor, choose your favorite brand of vodka. Light or dark rum would also work nicely with these flavors.
How to serve punch
You don’t need a literal punchbowl to serve this bubbly, fizzy drink. Pour the punch into a large mason jar, then fill individual glasses with ice (just 2 ice cubes should do). Ladle about 4 fluid ounces of punch from the jar over the ice in each cup. If you’re careful, you can also pour the punch directly from a pitcher. Just make sure to pour slowly so the punch doesn’t fizz over!

Step 1
Add frozen cranberries, water, lemon juice, and liquid stevia to a pot on the stove. Cover the pot, bring the ingredients to a boil then reduce it to a simmer. Simmer the pot until the cranberries are really soft and have released liquid - about 10 minutes. Then, you can smash the cranberries with a fork.Step 2
Remove the pot from the stove and continue smashing the cranberries until they’re totally macerated. Next, you’ll need to press the cranberries through a sieve or strainer to extract only the liquid. At this point, you can add small amounts of water (1 teaspoon at a time) to help loosen the ingredients in your strainer. Press out all the juice into a clean bowl or glass.Step 3
Discard the pulp and seeds, and leave the cranberry juice aside to cool down. For smaller batches, this may only take about 15 minutes. You can also chill the cranberry juice in your refrigerator for short amounts of time. Once the juice is cool, pour it into the bottom of a strainer. Whisk fresh-squeezed orange juice into the cranberry juice.Step 4
For the final step, select a citrus-flavored sparkling water to fill the pitcher and finish the punch. In this recipe, sparkling grapefruit was chosen. Additional suggestions for flavors are in the introduction of the recipe. You can serve the Christmas punch immediately over ice or chill it in your refrigerator until it’s cold.
