Low Carb Cheesy Sausage and Broccoli Bake
This flavorsome bake is loaded with juicy sausages, creamy cheese sauce and tender broccoli.
This makes for a hearty and warming mid-week dinner. Perfect on its own, or served with a portion of our keto garlic bread.

Ingredients
Sausage, Pork, Fresh
4 medium link - breakfast size
Broccoli, Raw
1-½ cup, chopped
Olive Oil
1 tablespoon
Heavy Cream
½ cup
Cheddar Cheese
¾ cup, grated
Vegetable Broth, Bouillon Or Consomme
½ cup
Salt, Sea Salt
¼ teaspoon
Black Pepper
⅛ teaspoon
Spices Nutmeg Ground
⅛ tsp

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375 F.Step 2
Heat the olive oil in a large pan over a medium/high heat. Add the sausages and cook until brown all over.Step 3
Whilst the sausages are browning add the broccoli to a medium pan and cover with water. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.Step 4
Add the vegetable stock, cream, ½ cup grated cheddar and the nutmeg to a small saucepan over a low/medium heat. Simmer until thickened.Step 5
Arrange the sausages and the broccoli in an oven proof dish and season with salt and pepper.Step 6
Pour the cheese sauce over the broccoli and sausages and top with the remaining grated cheese.Step 7
Bake for 20 minutes until golden and bubbling and the sausages are cooked through.

I did this recipe with ground Italian sausage and no broth. Was delicious

Great flavour, but recipe is far too watery. Half stock/broth, plus a tbs of almond flour may improve.

This recipe was DELICIOUS!!! I little watery but if you a tbsp of Almond flour that will thicken it . My 11yr old twins loved it.

I used ground sausage (leftover from breakfast meat cups) and threw in some red peppers and it was awesome. The whole family enjoyed it.
