Added sausage instead of bacon. Topped with 1/2 teaspoon cheese. They were really good. Doubled the recipe so I have them for the week.

I added grilled chicken bites for more protein, and it was delicious. I did add a little more garlic 😋

I love this recipe, not only is it effortless but you can basically customise the seasoning flavours so this was a great inspiration. I dont bother measuring I just shake a bunch of different flavours on the brocolli each time.

I used extra bacon and add Palmini rice and cut up a hard boiled egg into it......I also add half of a dry chili pepper...it was so good! Also, used frozen broccoli that I rinsed with hot water and dried before putting it. The amount shrinks when it becomes unfrozen....so so good.

                            Could you use frozen broccoli?

I used frozen and the extra liquid seemed to dilute the flavor of the bacon grease. Still flavorful and yummy but I would imagine a little more flavor packed if you use fresh broccoli.

In so confused with the measurements. What does it mean yields 4 1/2 cup

Diane is correct. You can adjust the number of servings if you want less or more by tapping on the + or - accordingly. The ingredient measurements will s as auto-adjust for you.

I thought this side dish was packed with flavor and my husband was very happy with the bacon and the flavor that seeped into the broccoli. It is easy to prep and cook. Recommend for anyone needing a flavorful side dish. Paired this with bison cheeseburger (no bun).

This is sooo good. It has taken top place for my side dish. My husband now requests this 🤣 the only thing I do different is when adding in the broccoli I had Mccormicks garlic and herb seasoning

To clarify, is the serving size 1/2 cup for the nutrition label posted? or 1 1/2 cups?

One serving of 1/2 cup quantity results in the nutrition data posted. 1 cup of the broccoli and bacon = 2 servings which would double the nutrition data.

It looks like this recipe makes four 1/2 cup servings. But at the top you can scroll the measurement to 1 cup and the nutrition info adjusts accordingly.

I'd say 1 cup all this would be easier in grams or oz
