Keto Spicy Glazed Crispy Air Fryer Tofu
Spicy Glazed Crispy Air Fryer Tofu will be your new favorite way to consume tofu. Extra crispy and soft on the inside, these small cubes of firm tofu coated in a spicy sambal glaze, once crispy they are tossed in savory sesame seed oil and a pinch of kosher salt for a flavor that goes the extra mile.
Is tofu Keto-friendly?
Tofu is Keto-friendly in that it is low in carbs and higher in fiber. It has a small net fiber content of around 1 g per ¼ cup of firm tofu. You can guiltlessly snack on these, and they are higher in protein, which is critical on the Keto diet.
Does tofu made in an air fryer taste good?
Yes! The air fryer turns tofu into deliciously, crispy little nuggets that are golden brown on the outside and soft on the inside. They are quite addictive and so easy to snack on.
Why does my air fryer tofu stick together?
Air fryer tofu sticks together because each cube needs sufficient enough space around it while frying. To ensure the best cooking, do the tofu in two batches and make sure to spread them out, so they are not touching each other before cooking.

This is fantastic! I feel like I’m eating it in a restaurant. I cooked mine a tad bit too much, so next time I’ll check after 10 mins. So flavorful!

This was not my favorite. I did like the crispy texture of tofu but I used too much sesame oil by mistake.

Tofu is a fantastic keto friendly protein source. It's plant based, sugar free, and practically carb free! Per 100 g or (1 cup) serving of tofu = 1 gram of net carbs.

Hi Gwen- due to tofu's carb to protein ratio, it should be eaten in moderation on Keto. If you are carefully counting calories you can easily incorporate some tofu in as a snack, as long as you make note of it. Keto on!
