Can I replace the almond butter with regular vegan butter?

  • Almond butter

  • Chocolate chips, sugar free

  • Coconut oil

  • Step 1

    Add the almond milk, psyllium husk powder, chocolate protein powder, and almond butter to a large bowl. Using a hand mixer, beat until completely smooth. Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes.

    Stir in the chocolate chips. Optionally, add vanilla extract. You can also add some sweetener according to your taste.

    Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Brush a silicone waffle mold with coconut oil. Pour the batter into the mold and bake for 15 minutes.

    When done, remove from the oven and cool for 10 minutes. Carefully remove the waffles from the mold. Transfer to serving plates.

        I subbed in real butter, unflavored whey protein & unsweetened cocoa powder, pure Monkfruit sweetener. Same recipe and they came out great!
