Keto Loaded Sour Cream Biscuits
Oh, you’re going to want to make these next time you’re having company for breakfast! These biscuits are the perfect combination of a hearty outside with a fluffy, almost cakey, inside. Even better, each biscuit is “loaded” with bacon bits, melted cheese, and fresh green onions baked right into the dough. There’s cheese throughout the biscuits as well! Adding sour cream into the mix gives just enough of that tangy flavor but keeps the inside so tenderly delicious. Enjoy a loaded biscuit at breakfast, lunch, or enjoy by itself as a snack.

Sour Cream In Your Baked Goods
Sour cream isn’t just great for biscuits. A dollop of sour cream can be added to cakes, cupcakes, and bread. Before you make a face, know that some of your most favorite desserts that you’ve coined as ‘moist’ likely already have sour cream in it, and you never tasted it! Sour cream is the perfect dairy product that adds moisture to your baked goods. However, unlike milk or melted butter, there’s less liquid that thins out your batter. The slight tang of sour cream is showcased in this biscuit recipe, but you don’t taste sour cream in most other baked goods, especially sweet ones.
What’s “Loaded” Mean?
For those who don’t know, a “loaded” food in the U.S. often means it’s topped with bacon, cheese, and green onion. A “loaded” baked potato would have these ingredients on top, as well as a little extra sour cream and butter. Other foods that taste great with “loaded” toppings are chili, pizzas, burgers, and biscuits like this recipe. Don’t limit yourself, however! Try some variations on what “loaded” can really mean. Cheddar, parmesan, or gouda are all yummy cheeses to load onto your meal. If you don’t like bacon, swap it out for diced pancetta! If green onion is too strong a flavor for you, chopped parsley works just as well.

Didn't taste good at all.

Found them very bland and cardboardy. The flour mix needs more… I don’t know. More butter, for one. Would help to have some bacon inside instead of just on top.

These are so good, and curb the urge for the buttery floury biscuit.
