Keto Ultimate Instant Coffee
Sometimes brewing your cup of coffee for a BULLETPROOF® isn’t practical, so having a functional version using instant coffee is helpful. This Keto instant coffee is creamy, dreamy, and frothy.
Why does this recipe use cacao butter and coconut milk creamer?
Cacao butter is a delicious, healthy fat with a floral chocolate taste. It quickly melts into a hot beverage like coffee. Feel free to use any assortment of healthy fats for this; cacao butter is just an example. Other fats you can use include ghee, salted butter, coconut nut, and BULLETPROOF® brain octane oil (MCT Oil). If using cacao butter, use the wafer form. If the cacao butter is in chunks, it would be best to cut them into smaller pieces before adding them to the coffee. The coconut cream is there to add creaminess but is optional.
What is the best instant coffee to use?
The most flavorful types of instant coffee come in stick pouches. The coffee used in those are usually micro-ground and hold the volatile flavors that make up coffee’s aroma and flavor. You can opt for granulated instant coffee as well.
What kind of blender should you use?
A stick blender is the most practical, but a small smoothie-type blender will work.
