Low Carb Frozen Margarita
There is little flash to these frozen margaritas. They’re made with the classic flavors of a margarita: tequila and lime. A little extra lemon juice and some help from a Keto sweetener will make things go down smooth. This makes a great Keto Superbowl drink or a fun drink for another group get-together. You can easily adjust the ingredients as needed if you like sweeter or slightly sour flavors. Make sure to choose your favorite tequila for this simple recipe so you can really enjoy it. You can choose to use bottled lime and lemon juice, but the truth is your margarita will taste best if it’s made with real limes and lemons. If you can find sweet varieties, like key lime and Meyer lemon, that would be even better.
Take it on the rocks
Don’t like frozen drinks? Just skip the blender directions and pour all your ingredients into a shaker. Depending on the size of your shaker, you may need to make just one margarita at a time. Simply shake with ice before pouring over fresh ice in a glass.
What type of glass to choose
You don’t need a specific margarita glass to enjoy a margarita, especially a frozen one! You can pour frozen margaritas in wine glasses, in tall frosted mugs, in short glasses, or really any glass you can find. When it comes to margaritas, you don’t have to take things so seriously. Just enjoy the drink!
Why can’t I use erythritol?
You might enjoy the taste of erythritol more than liquid stevia, but it might not be a good idea to use it when making a single serving to drink. Erythritol is great for Keto recipes but will add up in carbs quickly if you start spooning it into a margarita. Liquid stevia adds zero carbs and can sweeten more with less.
