Keto Salami Chips
You can get all your macros in even by only following easy Keto recipes on Carb Manager! This simple salami chip recipe is made in less than 15 minutes and has a variety of uses. Just one ingredient is needed: your favorite brand of sliced salami. All you have to do is cut and bake the chips until they’re crispy! This is great for anyone who finds bacon chips a little too salty or greasy for their liking. You can eat the salami chips as a plain snack, or you can pair them with dips or condiments for more calories. Some suggestions are made throughout the intro and recipe. You can add as many chips as you want to your food log, but the recommended serving size is 12 chips.
Is Salami Healthy?
Salami and other beef/pork products have a lot of benefits to the Keto diet. These types of meat have higher fat contents, which is really helpful to anyone who eats animal products. Plus, these processed meats are ready for you to grab and use without cooking. However, any processed meat should be limited each week, since they’re known for less-healthy fats. It’s okay to include some saturated fat from animals in your diet, but most of your fats should come from healthier sources.
Suggestions For Recipe Use
These Keto salami chips have the perfect integrity to pick up and hold dips or sauces. They can lift scoops of guacamole, salsa, cheese sauces, pizza dips, hummus, and more. Carb Manager snack recipes you can eat with your salami chips may be the Keto Spinach And Artichoke Dip, Keto Blue Cheese Dip, or Keto Chunky Guacamole. You can also add the crunchy chips on top of salads and soups.

Ingredients
Salami, cotto (cooked or soft), beef and pork
8 slice - 4" diameter x 1/8" - each 0.8 ounce
Recipe Steps

15 min
Step 1
Select your favorite brand of salami for the recipe. It’s recommended you choose pre-sliced salami that comes in a package or that you can buy at a deli counter. You may choose whole salami, but you will need to have access to something that slices it thin. At your discretion, you can choose between mild or spicy salami for your preferences.Step 2
Turn on an oven to preheat to 350 degrees and line a large sheet tray with parchment paper. Stack all the salami slices in a single pile, and cut the slices into 4 pieces each. Arrange the cut pieces of salami in rows on your parchment paper, making sure you leave just a little space between each piece so they don’t touch. You may think to use a baking rack to let extra fat drip off, but you’ll want to avoid that in this recipe or risk shrinking the salami chips.Step 3
Bake the tray of salami chips for 11-12 minutes. Watch carefully because any extra time will quickly burn your chips. Watch the salami as it shrinks slightly and stiffens with dark golden edges. The salami may look dark, but this is just the caramelized fat and should not taste burnt. Let the finished salami chips cool for 5 minutes before eating. You may also use a paper towel to absorb any small amounts of excess grease so the chips are easier to use.

Is a piece / 1/4 of a slice??

Yes. 1 chip is a 1/4of a slice... The recommened serving size says 12 chips, which is 3 slices of salami. But the nutrition facts are for 1oz, which is just about 1 slice. So this is very confusing. So, 2 carbs per 4 chips? That is what I get from this. But the recipe calls for 8 slices of salami, making 32 chips... so 8 servings?
