Ingredients

  • Olive Oil

    1 small - head - approx 4 1/2" diameter

    1 cup, grated

  • Salt, Sea Salt

  • Black Pepper

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Step 2

    Slice the cabbage into 8 even discs or slices, each roughly a half inch thick and arrange across a shallow oven tray.

    Brush the cabbage slices on both sides with the olive oil.

    Crush the garlic and sprinkle over the cabbage slices and scatter over the grated mozzarella. Season with salt and pepper.

    Transfer to the oven to bake for 18-20 minutes until the cabbage is tender throughout and the cheese is bubbling and golden.

        This dish was very delicious, I will make it at least once a week. I feel it needs more cheese and garlic. I increased both. And I had to cook mine for 30 minutes.

          I like more garlic too. Try mixing the garlic in the oil and brush it on the cabbage; it should distribute better all over the cabbage and I would also sprinkle some garlic spice mix over the top of the cheese with some red pepper flakes too, that should crank up the flavor meter 😉

        Very delicious easy to make. I did modify it a bit- Drizzled avocado oil on them Used sea salt and pepper and garlic salt Sprinkled chopped garlic Added mozzarella and Mexican cheeses Added pats of garlic butter on top then cooked
