Low Carb Garlicky Mushrooms

16 ratings

The earthiness and deep flavor of cremini mushrooms can often speak for itself. However, a little enhancement from a few spices and some olive oil can turn this low-carb fungi into a scrumptious side dish! Serve these super garlicky mushrooms alongside chicken or beef. You can even turn your afternoon salad upscale by adding a spoonful on top!

I think the author means the dirty root stems some mushrooms come with, not the entire stem.

I didn’t have rosemary and I added fresh parsley when they were half cooked. Absolutely delicious! Also, I left the pepper flakes out for my toddler.

              Can we use baby Bella’s?

The words "Baby Bella" are a marketing technique to get you to pay more for the same product. When a Crimini Mushroom grows up, it becomes a Portabello. Don't pay more for the same thing.

Has anyone used anything other than mushrooms for this? I despise mushrooms! They're okay chopped and mixed with things but also e as a side dish... nope!
