Keto Bacon Wrapped Asparagus With Cheese And Pancetta Dip
This easy Keto recipe combines simple bacon-wrapped asparagus with our deliciously rich and creamy Keto cheese and pancetta dip. Once the asparagus has been wrapped in bacon, they are oven-baked until golden then served with a bubbling and oozy cheese dip. The Keto cheese and pancetta dip recipe can be found in our sides section.
Do I Have to Blanch the Asparagus?
We have used medium-sized asparagus spears for our simple Keto recipe. The spears are simply prepared by cleaning and slicing off the tough ends. There is no need to blanch or parboil the asparagus before using. Once wrapped, the spears will cook through completely in the oven at the same times as it takes to crisp the bacon.
Can I Make These in An Air Fryer?
We have oven-baked our Keto bacon-wrapped asparagus spears in a little olive oil until tender and golden. If preferred, you may cook these in the basket of an air fryer. Set the temperature to 390 degrees and brush the spears with oil, and season with black pepper. Air fry for 8 minutes or longer as needed until the asparagus is tender and the bacon is golden and completely cooked through.
Please note the prep and cook time is for the asparagus and does not include the time to prep and cook the dip.

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Trim the tough ends from the asparagus and discard. Arrange the prepared asparagus spears on a clean work surface.Step 2
Slice each strip of bacon in half lengthwise. Take one of the asparagus spears and wrap a sliced piece of bacon tightly along the length of the spear. The bacon should twist around the spear so that some of the asparagus is still exposed. Repeat this with the remaining spears and bacon, so they are all covered.Step 3
Arrange the bacon-wrapped spears across a shallow oven tray. Drizzle over the olive oil and season with black pepper. Transfer to the oven to bake for 15-18 minutes, turning halfway through. The spears should be tender, and the bacon cooked through, crisp and golden. Serve the spears as dippers with our Keto cheese and pancetta dip.
