Keto Air Fryer Vegetarian Cabbage Patties
These Keto air fryer vegetarian patties are packed with low carb veggies and aromatic herbs and spices. Simple to prepare, the patties are formed then baked in an air fryer until crisp and golden. These make an excellent Keto vegetarian lunch option.
Keto Air Fryer Patty Ingredients
These Keto vegetarian patties are made with a blend of finely shredded cabbage, finely chopped onion, crushed garlic, aromatic fresh cilantro and earthy cumin. The patties are then bound with a little oil, egg and coconut flour to hold their shape. We have prepared our patties with white cabbage but red cabbage would work just as well.

Step 1
Finely shred the cabbage with a box grater and add to a mixing bowl - you should have about 1.5 cups worth of shredded cabbage. Finely chop the onion and cilantro and crush the garlic. Add to the bowl with the cabbage along with the ground cumin, salt, oil and coconut flour. Mix everything together well to combine.Step 2
Crack the egg into the bowl. Beat everything together until well combined and coated in the egg. The mixture should now be holding together. If the mixture feels too wet, add just a little more coconut flour.Step 3
Lightly oil your air fryer basket base. Divide the cabbage mixture into four even portions. Shape each portion into a patty with your hands, roughly a half inch thick. Arrange the patties side by side in the basket of your air fryer.Step 4
Set the basket in the air fryer. Turn the temperature to 350 degrees and set the timer for 7 minutes. After this time, carefully turn the patties over and then return to the air fryer for a further 7 minutes. The patties should be hot through and golden brown all over. Fry for longer if needed. Set aside to cool a little and firm before serving.
