Raw Blanched Slivered Almonds by Trader Joe's
1 tablespoon
Coconut Milk
⅓ cup
Curry Powder
½ teaspoon
Turmeric, Ground
¼ teaspoon
Cumin, Ground
¼ teaspoon
Cinnamon, Ground
¼ teaspoon
Red Onion
¼ cup, chopped
Black Pepper
⅛ teaspoon

Step 1
Finely dice the onion and thinly slice the garlic. Heat the coconut oil in a pan over a low/medium heat and fry the onion and garlic until tender.Step 2
Add the curry powder, ginger, turmeric, cumin and cinnamon to the pan. Swirl the pan, coating the onion and garlic in the seasoning, warming the spices through.Step 3
Add the beans to the pan and season with black pepper. Toss the beans in the spices and oil.Step 4
Add the coconut milk to the pan and bring to a gentle simmer, cooking the beans until the milk has reduced and the beans are tender – about 5-6 minutes.Step 5
Scatter with flaked almonds to serve.
