Keto Gluten Free Chicken Strips
Chicken Strips are a classic, easy lunch that is hard to hate. If you want to feel like a kid again while sticking to your Keto diet, just fry these babies up! Speaking of kids, this is also a great lunch recipe to include your children in! The gluten-free crispy outside is addictive and healthy for anyone to eat!

Ingredients
Raw Egg
2 large
Spicy Brown Mustard by French's
2 tsp
Parmesan Cheese
1-½ cup, shredded
Almond Flour
¼ cup
Salt
1 teaspoon
Black Pepper
2 teaspoon
Paprika
½ tablespoon
Chicken Breast
8 tender
Grapeseed Oil
4 tablespoon
Recipe Steps

Step 1
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and brown mustard with a fork. Set this aside.Step 2
In a second bowl, combine the parmesan, almond flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. Set this aside as well.Step 3
If you need to, slice chicken breast into tenders. If your tenders are pre-cut, lay them flat and ready for cooking.Step 4
*Heat the grapeseed oil in a large skillet on high heat. When the oil is hot, dip each chicken tender into the egg mixture first and then the dry mixture. Place the chicken strips in the skillet for frying. Cook each chicken strip for approximately 5 minutes per side. The tenders will naturally release from the pan when they’re cooked.Step 5
Lay the cooked chicken strips on a paper towel to soak up any excess oil.Step 6

No steps are missing..mix dry ingredients..dip chicken in egg yhen dry ingredients then into hot oil to cook

Yes. Since not everyone's appliances are the same, you'll need to follow the cooking directions for your air fryer.

What about using avocado oil, I thought that has the highest smoke point and is the most keto friendly?

Don't fry with coconu oil. It has too low of a smoke point.

Avocado oil is an excellent substitute here! Olive oil and coconut oil are also appropriate substitutes. Hope this helps!

Is it ok to use vegetable/canola oil instead of grapeseed oil? How much will that affect the nutritional value?

Canola/vegetable oil is not Keto

You may use vegetable oil here. Grapeseed oil has healthier fats and a higher smoke point, so it's better for frying. However, using vegetable oil should not change your macros. The healthiest oil to use here would be olive oil, but this is usually more difficult to fry with, since it has a lower smoke point. Hope this information was helpful!
