Keto Vanilla French Press

A French press is a delicious way to yield smooth, strong coffee. It is easy to make French press coffee BULLETPROOF® by simply adding Keto-friendly fats like butter or coconut oil. This recipe is sweetened with sugar-free vanilla syrup and blended with salted butter and BULLETPROOF® Brain Octane Oil (MCT Oil) until creamy.

Can you use different syrups?

Yes, any sugar-free syrup will work as long as the sweetener is Keto-friendly. This recipe uses vanilla-flavored syrup, but caramel, hazelnut, and amaretto are all delicious substitutes to try.

What is the ratio of coffee to water for a French press?

The ratio is usually 2 tbsp to 6 oz water. Feel free to double or triple that to make multiple batches at a time.

What other fats can you add?

Coconut oil, avocado oil, or ghee are all great additions instead of salted butter or BULLETPROOF® Brain Octane Oil (MCT Oil).

  • Step 1

    Add your ground coffee to the bottom of the French press. Add in boiling water. and allow it to steep for 4 minutes. Drop the plunger to push the coffee grounds to the bottom.

    Add the salted butter, BULLETPROOF® Brain Octane Oil (MCT Oil), and vanilla syrup to the bottom of the blender cup. Pour the hot coffee into the blender cup. Blend with a stick blender or small smoothie blender until smooth and frothy.

    Pour it into a mug. You can garnish the top with coffee granules. Serve immediately!
