Keto Green Bean Crisps

These chips are super tasty and can be easily done in a low temperature oven. They are tossed in coconut oil and seasoned with garlic and onion powder. However, they literally can be seasoned with anything! They may not look the prettiest, but they are so tasty!! They’d make a great salad topper too.

This is really good the day you make them! But for me they became very chewy and not crispy the next day. That’s a lot of time spent for one meal. Anyone have tips for keeping them crispy?

I'm sorry you had this experience! I kept mine in an airtight container (like a deli container or a plastic container with the rubber seal) and it seemed to keep them crispy the next day. Of course they will not be as crispy as the first day, however.

Why at such a low temp? Cant i cook them a bit higher and not for five to six hours?

A higher temp will cause them to brown and burn over time versus getting dried out and crisp. Some people will do a similar recipe and place it in their dehydrator too. The air fryer is a great idea.

I’ve done something similar to this, but I like it really crispy so I will put it in my air fryer. They’re done in about 10 minutes.
