Recipe Steps

  • Step 1

    Add the coconut milk to a sealable jar or serving bowl. Add the cocoa powder, syrup and vanilla and whisk together until smooth.

    Add the chia seeds and stir well to combine.

    Set aside for 10 minutes then stir again. Cover and transfer to the fridge for 2 hours or preferably overnight to set.

    Remove the chia pudding and stir well. Top with the toasted coconut flakes to serve.

    This definitely needed salt. I added a nice pinch of pink salt and it woke the flavors up. Without it, the chocolate and coconut taste is too bland. I also added a dash of instant coffee to up the chocolate flavor. So much better. I didn’t have coconut flakes but with these additions, I’ll be making it again.

        So...are the macros provided for 1 serving or for the whole recipe (2 servings)? The added note about adjusting macros is confusing.
