Classic Low Carb Naan Bread
Keto naan bread will be your new favorite way to soak up sauces to any dish. Soft and fluffy, this naan bread is a crowd-pleaser that is very easy to make. Keto Naan dough made with a mixture of shredded Chihuahua cheese, coconut flour, and an egg that is melted in the microwave and then spread on a Silpat. The recipe makes one naan bread, but it can easily be doubled to make more. If increasing batch sizes, it would be best to stick with only doubling the recipe because the finished dough will cool quickly and not spread as easily.
Is a Silpat necessary?
A silicone liner is crucial for this bread, so prevent sticking. Silicone lined parchment paper would work as well.
Can I use other shredded cheese?
Yes, other shredded cheeses will work, but for the most authentic Keto naan stick to using white shredded cheeses like mozzarella or Chihuahua cheeses. Do not use white cheese like feta or cotija, however.
How do I make the naan bread shape?
Once the dough is made, scoop the mixture onto the Silpat and spread with a rubber spatula or wooden spoon into an oblong shape. The dough will not spread much, so be sure to spread it to the desired shape and at ½” thickness.

Not sure how the macros add up? The cheese, the egg white, the coconut flour doesn’t add up to the macros listed here.
