The Best Keto Detox Tea
You may be familiar with the health benefits of starting your day with a glass of warm lemon water. Well, this detox tea is the ultimate upgrade on the famous warm lemon water. On top of lemon juice, this drink contains ginger, turmeric, and mint, making it the best Keto detox tea out there. All these ingredients may help to support your immune system and fight infection.
What are the health benefits of this Keto detox tea?
This tea is full of nutrient-rich ingredients that may help improve your overall health. For instance, lemon and ginger can potentially boost your immune system and reduce inflammation. Turmeric is high in anti-oxidants and may relieve pain. As for mint, it may help relieve indigestion and improve brain function. Not only is this tea nutritious, but it is also warming, refreshing, and delicious.
How to make this Keto detox tea?
To make this tea, start by boiling ginger and lemon peel. This helps extract and release the nutrients into the water. Then, add the turmeric powder and lemon juice, strain the mixture, and pour into mugs. Add a couple of mint leaves to each cup. You can also add a couple of drops of stevia if you like your tea sweet.
How can you customize this low-carb drink?
This tea can be customized to your liking in many ways. You can substitute the lemon for lime, add cinnamon or cloves, and add stevia for sweetness.
Do you have to use fresh ginger for this recipe?
You can definitely use ground ginger if that’s all you have on hand. Start with ½ tsp and add more to your taste. The same goes for turmeric; you can use fresh instead of ground.

Does anyone know the best ratio to break it down into one cup at a time how best to mix it with using ground ginger not fresh ingredients at all for a quick out the door in the morning

At the top of the recipe, there is a place where you can change the amount the recipe makes. For every 1 tbls of fresh ginger, use 1/4 tsp of ground.

Can this be used if following the fasting regime please?
Nikki13 a year ago
Unlike coffee though there are carbs... there are natural sugars in lemon and ginger
FabulousKetone201215 2 years ago
I believe it would be fine. Since a cup of black coffee has 10 calories too.

If you are fasting, does this break your fast or potentially take you out of ketosis?
IneffableAvocado461343 3 years ago
It shouldn't take you out of ketosis. As far as fasting I've read mixed things about tea and fasting. The general consensus is if its under 50 calories it will technically not break your fast but may activate the gut so it depends on the purpose of your fast.

How often do you drink this tea to detox?
BZBZBee 3 years ago
I would like to know, too! Maybe start with every other day and see how your body tolerates it, then go more or less frequent accordingly?
