Baby Spinach
6 cup, cut pieces
Pine Nuts
2 tablespoon, whole pieces
Garlic
1 clove
Cumin, Seed
1 teaspoon, whole pieces
Olive Oil
1 tablespoon
Unsalted Butter
1 tablespoon
Salt
⅛ teaspoon
Black Pepper
⅛ teaspoon

Step 1
Add the pine nuts to a dry pan over a low/medium heat and toast until lightly golden all over – about 3 minutes. Set aside.Step 2
Heat the olive oil in a large pan over a low/medium heat. Finely slice the garlic and add to the pan along with the cumin seeds. Cook gently until the garlic is tender.Step 3
Melt the butter in the pan and add the spinach, salt and pepper. Toss the spinach in the fats and seasonings until just wilted then remove from the heat.Step 4
Scatter the toasted pine nuts over the spinach to serve.
