Step 1
Heat the strawberries, basil leaves, granulated Low-Carb sweetener and water together in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally. Press the strawberries and basil leaves with the back of a wooden spoon while heating to release their juices.Step 2
Continue to heat the syrup for 5 to 8 minutes until the sweetener has completely dissolved. Strain out the strawberries and basil leaves. Let the syrup cool to room temperature before using.Step 3
Into glasses add the strawberry syrup then add a handful of ice. Top with sparkling water, a few sliced strawberries and basil leaves and stir well before serving.

I haven't tried this recipe yet but was wondering where the strawberry syrup and lime fit into the recipe. They are listed in the ingredients but not in the recipe instructions
