Easy Keto Orange Cream Soda
Feel like a kid again when you drink this Keto non alcoholic drink! It’s fizzy, frothy, and full of orange flavor. The recipe is also customizable, so you can adjust how sweet or tart your soda is. Don’t worry, there’s no real soda used in this recipe. The drink gets its fizziness from sparkling water. The ‘cream’ in the soda is real cream that you’ll whip up in advance! Pour the sparkling water over your cream in your glass, and watch the bubbles build up. This is a high-fat Keto recipe, so keep that in mind if you’re sharing your soda with any kids.
Drink the soda immediately after making
Make sure to drink your soda while it’s cold and frothy. Not only will it be most enjoyable this way, but you’re up against science. If the cream in the soda sits for several minutes with the citrus orange juice, it may begin to curdle. The acid in citrus fruits can cook and break down protein. Your cream hasn’t spoiled, but it may taste sour!
What makes the drink Keto?
The amount of heavy cream used in this drink is no mistake. Keto non alcoholic drinks are truly Keto if they have fat content. Similar to trendy butter coffee, this orange cream soda is a fun drink with low carbs that’s rich in fat. When your body is in ketosis, you need high-fat recipes to fuel your body.
Types of sparkling water
If you want a light orange flavor (and don’t want your drink to be too tart), choose plain sparkling water to fill your glass. For a stronger orange flavor, choose orange-flavored sparkling water! You could also choose a lemon or lime-flavored sparkling water for a multi-citrus twist.

Step 1
Whip heavy cream in a stand mixer. For small servings, you can whip cream in a jar with a handheld milk frother. Whip the cream to just soft or medium peaks. Whip liquid stevia into the heavy cream at the end.Step 2
Squeeze fresh orange juice into the bottom of a serving glass (about 2 ½ TB per glass). Spoon the whipped cream into the orange juice. You can reserve a little whipped cream to spoon on top of the soda later.Step 3
Gently pour flavored or plain sparkling water into the glass (about 8 ounces or more per serving). Be careful, the cream will foam and rise rapidly! You can add more liquid stevia to the drink at your discretion. Drink immediately.
