Green Beans (string Beans), Raw
3-½ ounce
Butter
1-½ tablespoon
Garlic
1 clove
Peppermint, Fresh
1 tablespoon
Parsley
1 tablespoon
Salt, Sea Salt
¼ teaspoon
Black Pepper
⅛ teaspoon

Step 1
Add the green beans to a pan of boiling water and simmer for 4-5 minutes until just tender.Step 2
Melt the butter in a skillet over a medium heat. Thinly slice the garlic and add to the pan, sweating gently until tender. Add the green beans and toss in the butter. Sauté for a minute or two until hot through.Step 3
Remove the pan from the heat and roughly chop the herbs. Add to the pan and toss to combine.

Great recipe full of flavour with addition of mint! I just don’t seem to have enough beans on my plate! Your pic seems to show more beans than what I weighed. I would have thought two portions not three

No need to par boil beans. You boil out the nutrients. Simply add butter and a bit of olive oil to pan, put a lid on. Pan fry until desired crispness.

Refreshing flavor and the mint really surprised me. I have made this four or five time and plan to keep it as a staple in my rotation.
