Keto Italian Steak Rolls
A great way to jazz up lunch time, these Italian steak rolls take tenderised strip steak and fill them with creamy mozzarella, juicy tomato and aromatic basil.
The recipe calls for 14 ounces of strip steak - this either needs to be divided in half or you will need 2 x 7 ounce steaks.
These rolls are perfect to serve one per person as a lunch alongside a hearty salad or some steamed veg. Alternatively two steak rolls would work well as a main dinner portion for one.

Mozzarella Cheese

Basil
2 tablespoon, chopped
Cherry Tomato

Step 1
Lay each 7-ounce steak between two sheets of plastic wrap and hammer with a meat mallet or rolling pin to about ¼ inch thick. Season generously on both sides.Step 2
Tear the basil leaves evenly between the two steaks.Step 3
Roughly chop the tomatoes into small chunks and arrange between the two steaks, covering just over one half of each steak only (leaving room to roll).Step 4
Tear the mozzarella and scatter over the tomatoes.Step 5
Roll the filled side of the steak over, keeping it tightly rolled until it overlaps with the other side, creating a neat tube. Secure each steak with two tooth picks.Step 6
Heat the olive oil in a large pan over a medium/high heat and add the steaks. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until browned all over and cooked through to personal taste. Serve with a fresh dressed salad or steamed greens.

Recepi ingredient list says 2 tbs shredded mozzerella cheese but directions say "tear the mozzerella and scatter over the tomatoes". You can't tear shredded cheese. Which is it? You can't have it both ways. Also, ingredients say 2 tbs chopped basil but directions say to tear it??

Your serving calculations are off. How do you use 14 ounces of steak split into 2 7-ounce thin steaks, recipe calls for 2 servings, which means 1 7-ounce steak per serving, but you have serving weight at only 3 ounces? Please let me know if I'm missing something here?
