Keto Tex-Mex Flounder
Flounder is a fantastic white fish that holds flavor well, doesn’t taste gamey, and is very healthy for you! This Tex-Mex rub is similar to what you’d find in a taco seasoning. If you don’t like spicy foods, omit the cayenne pepper from this recipe. You can serve your Tex-Mex Flounder with a healthy keto side dish, such as the Carb Manager Mexican Fried Rice.

Very flavorful. It was a bit too spicy for me. Thinking next time maybe cut back on the black and cayenne pepper. . . Just a little!! 😉

A bit bland, I had to add Indian fish masala to it.

I see people posting that it was too spicy and all I can say is y’all must not be from the south! lol Being from Louisiana, I found it thoroughly enjoyable. Too bad I can’t have tortillas because it would have made some yummy fish tacos!

This was a hit at our house! We used Tilapia instead, and it was just as delicious.

The size of the filet in the recipe says 226g, yielding 2 servings, yet at the bottom it says 1 serving is 56g? Which is it?

The first weight is the raw weight, the second weight is the serving size. Cooked fish will be lighter than raw.

Way too spicy, but adjustable.

Easy, spicy but adjustable. I substituted coconut oil for olive oil and only had a lemon. Two pieces are enough for one person, and you should make double the spice for four pieces to feed a total of two people. I will make this again!
