Unsalted Butter
1 tablespoon
Olive Oil
1 tablespoon
Garlic
1 clove
Cream Cheese Spread
1 tablespoon
Heavy Cream
¼ cup
Black Pepper

Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over a high heat. Lightly season the steaks and add to the pan one at a time, cooking to preference. Set aside to rest, keeping the steak warm.Step 2
To prepare the sauce, melt the butter in a small pan over a low/medium heat. Mince the garlic and add to the butter, gently sweating until tender.Step 3
Add the cream cheese and stir into the butter until melted.Step 4
Add the heavy cream to the pan and bring to a very gentle boil. Season with a little black pepper and simmer gently for a few minutes to thicken. Crumble the blue cheese into the sauce and stir to combine until just melted.Step 5
Serve the sauce over the rested steaks.

This is so good and one of hubbys favorites! I double the blue cheese sauce and put over steamed broccoli! Will make over and over!

I agree that the steak is entered twice. Unless you want to eat a 7.7 ounce portion of steak. When changing the servings to 1 it still shows Two 4 ounce pieces of steak needed for the recipe.

1/2 lb of steak is a serving. That isn't a lot.

This looks absolutely yum. However you need to edit it as the steak has been entered into the ingredient list twice.

I agree; when recipes call for multiples of an ingredient, the quantity is doubled (or whatever the quantity is) rather than it having multiple line items.

I don't think that's a typo as you cook each steak individually per the recipe. I'm going to try this only I'll cook the steaks on the grill.
