Easy Keto Rosemary Chicken Wings
This flavorsome dish is a wonderful addition to your Keto spring recipes. These wings are a breeze to prepare and packed with savory goodness. With a simple yet aromatic marinade featuring olive oil, Dijon mustard, garlic, and fresh rosemary, they're guaranteed to satisfy your taste buds. Whether you're cooking for a crowd or enjoying a quiet meal at home, these wings are sure to satisfy your cravings and bring a taste of spring to your table. Please note that a total preparation time includes the time necessary to marinate the chicken.
How long should I marinate the chicken wings?
We recommend marinating the chicken wings for at least an hour to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat fully. However, if you're short on time, even a brief marination will enhance the taste of the wings.
Can I cook these chicken wings in the oven instead of on the stovetop?
Yes, you can definitely bake these chicken wings in the oven. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and arrange the marinated wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the wings are cooked through and golden brown, flipping them halfway through cooking for even browning.
Can I cook these chicken wings in my air fryer?
Absolutely! These chicken wings can be cooked to crispy perfection in an air fryer. Simply preheat your air fryer to 190°C (375°F), arrange the marinated wings in a single layer in the basket, and cook for 20-25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking for even crisping.
How should I store these chicken wings?
To store leftover chicken wings, allow them to cool completely before transferring them to an airtight container. They can be refrigerated for up to 3-4 days. When ready to enjoy again, simply reheat them in the microwave or oven until warmed through.
Can I freeze these chicken wings?
Yes, you can freeze these chicken wings for future use. Place the cooled wings in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze until solid. Once frozen, transfer them to a freezer-safe bag or container, removing as much air as possible to prevent freezer burn. They can be frozen for up to 2-3 months. To reheat, thaw them overnight in the refrigerator before reheating as desired.
How do I customize this recipe?
There are endless ways to customize these chicken wings to suit your taste preferences. You can adjust the amount of garlic, Dijon mustard, and rosemary to your liking, or experiment with different herbs and spices for a unique flavor twist. Additionally, you can try adding a splash of balsamic vinegar or a squeeze of lemon juice for extra tanginess.
Can I grill these wings?
Absolutely! These chicken wings can be grilled for a delicious smoky flavor. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates. Place the marinated wings on the grill and cook for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and charred in spots.
What other types of meat can I use?
While this recipe calls for chicken wings, you can easily adapt it to use other cuts of chicken, such as drumsticks or boneless skinless chicken thighs. Additionally, you can try using other types of meat such as pork chops, beef steak tips, or even shrimp for a tasty variation. Adjust the cooking time as needed depending on the type and thickness of the meat.

This recipe needs a more appetizing photo. The skin on the wings looks flacid and the fat not rendered. Maybe an air fryer for cooking would result in "golden brown". Just trying to help.
